Kona is a 18" tall regular rod arm puppet from our Innova line of professional puppets.
 
Barely dry, Kona has all the look of a surfer just off his board after shooting the big curls on the north shore of Oahu.  Honey skin, brown eyes, and yellow hair give him a "beach" vibe and make him stand out on stage.

Pedigree:
This puppet is part of our Classic Designs Collection of puppets originally designed and manufactured by Puppet Productions™ (1970 – 2009). It is part of a series of puppets called “Innovas”. The first 10 of them were released in 1993 with bright orange skin colors and vivid hair colors (“Vivinnovas”). They had slightly different faces and smaller necks and mouths. The design was adjusted in 1994 to look like what you see here today. Frontier Creations™ (dba: Puppetsinc.com) is the exclusive owner and sole manufacturer of this design. This puppet is outfitted with an interior mouth grip technology called a Handi-Sphere™ through exclusive contract with David Pannabecker Designs.

I have been using an Innova puppet for just over a year! There is no signs of wear that I have noticed and the mouth action is well fitted to my hand! I can hold "Charlie" up for much longer than a lot of the other puppets I own hence the reason why he is my favourite puppet and gets used the most. The most important thing about Charlie is that the children love him!! Every assembly I go into the children chant until he surfaces, usually from a deep sleep :) I am saving money to buy a second "Charlie" to put away in case of any kind of accident, I travel on mission trips frequently and if you all know some of these countries that we visit could quite easily take a shine to your puppet and, well you know the rest. Thanks Puppets INC for keeping this puppet alive he is awesome!!
